Social Standards

My sis approached me to do a drawing for her essay she was writing. This is for one of her classes. This illustration is the current social standards. Being a person that doesn't "fit in" with social standards I took heart to the project. I hope the message is clear and that in the future we can all just accept each other and not hurt ourselves mentally or physically.

Sketches

Hello all! Here are some sketches from Today. I have done others but I haven't been able to use my computer too much thanks to the kitten I am taking care of. She just loves to curl up on my laptop and makes it very difficult to draw. Silly kitten. I tried drawing her but I have a ton of issues drawing animals. After my human face drawings I will do some animal anatomy. :)

Baby Portrait

Still continuing my babylicious journey...Yeah I dunno where I was going with that haha. More practice and this one took WAY too long. Longer then I thought. I was like Holy crap I wanted ot do more portraits but no way. haha Oh well as I said more drawings! more often, right here! This is actually Dec. 5th drawing. Another one will come up today!

Shit Happens-Be Ready!

So yeah! This is really what I originally wanted to do with this image. I think I want to put more falling bird poop, but first I am gunna see if this bird poo looks ok. This is kinda how I want to keep viewing life, because sometimes I feel like I've been shit on a lot, but I hope next time to protect myself! :D

Hey all! After a busy holiday weekend, a computer virus and some kitty pee pee accidents on the bed I can get back to my art. I re visited the kids faces, trying not to change too much and added some more faces. Kids are still hard to draw. If you haven't noticed by now there is one drawing that I do from my head and more stylized. This is to see if I learned anyhting from the exercise I am doing. I am having fun and a lot of people want me to sketch their kids. Fun stuff. :) More art tonight. I think Ill stay doing some face studies for another day or two then Im going to revisist the Shit Happens piece and do some changes! :)

These are my nieces and nephew. I took an hour or more drawing these and MAN DID I STRUGGLE! Drawing kids is super hard for me and I need a lot more practice! :<

Hi all! I was really inspired by CTNX yesterday and I want to make a commitment to myself. Everyday, I will upload something. Good or bad. Its going to come up! Starting today. Truth be told, I have honestly been in a slump, feeling worthless, feeling like I can't get any help anywhere, feeling ignored, feeling frustrated and depressed. "Ill never be good enough to be in this industry!" I'd tell myself. I am nothing but a freaking failure and in debt up to my ears for soemthing I am not great at." Id say. "I should just quit and give up, I am nothing, I can't do it. I need some help. Please someone, say something. What am I doing wrong? What am I doing right? Do I have a chance?" All these things, is all I would think. but thanks to some nice pep talk Saturday at CTNX I just have to keep going. I have to keep drawing and I can't stop. I did start from the bottom of the art chain and I have worked extremely hard to even get to this point. I have known about my lighting issues and my facial distortions and I am sure something else is wrong. I can't stop, I have to keep going. I have to keep trying, because I have nothing else. Without my art, I am nothing...However, my art is nothing, if I am nothing...I have to be something...oneday....

Art Test - Six Degree Games

Hello! This was an art test I did for Six Degrees Games. I finished this back in October and now getting to uploading it. I gotta work on my character turn arounds better if I want to be a 2D character artist. I hope to do other characters and do turn arounds of them so that I can get the character down properly. I also need to continue working on my lighting. I remembered why I stopped drawing in flash though. Cause it crashes so much haha. I lost about 2 hours of work and had to rush it a bit. Oh well, I well take what I learned and was told and continue my journey. :)

Bunny painting

Hello All! Sorry for the gap. I had given my self carpal tunnel a couple of weeks ago and had trouble painting. A painting of my bunny, Bao Bao to get back into it all. :) Took about 10 minutes ish. Done before my stomach tried to explode.

I don't care if you think itis childish! I am very stressed right now and drew and colored how I wanted! So there! :P I had fun too!! It only took 5 hrs!

Boba

A piece I did for a client while doing some work in sign design. I never officially got put on the roster, but I worked in Illustrator to create the Logo (not the text) seen in the photo and I have also done other sign designs, but currently can not display them. The dragons were not used as a display at the store. :( The other display required me to do some photo shopping of the old logo and putting the new one in.

Eva and Mr.Crinkles

Well here she is. Eva and Mr.Crinkles make their fully completed debut. I am happy with this and feel ready to move on to a new picture. :) Enjoy~
